The Southeast Asia Industrial Packaging Expo has successfully concluded in Malaysia. With a population of over 300 million, the country's diverse economy encompasses traditional manufacturing, emerging e-commerce, rich agriculture, and a thriving tourism industry, showcasing vibrant dynamism. In recent years, the packaging industry in Malaysia has experienced significant growth, particularly in the e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods, and pharmaceutical sectors, with market demand soaring. Concurrently, there has been a substantial increase in the demand for packaging machinery, prompting local packaging manufacturers in Malaysia to actively participate in this exhibition to seek suitable equipment such as laminating machines, die-cutting machines, hot foil stamping machines, and folder gluer to inject new vitality into the industry.

This flourishing market has attracted the attention of numerous large enterprises, including some well-known companies from China. In order to promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia, the Malaysian government announced a 30-day visa-free entry policy for Chinese tourists from December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024. This policy aims to facilitate the entry of Chinese enterprises into Malaysia and accelerate the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
